Deeper Life Reflections

Born into a lineage of hardworking grandparents and dedicated parents, I emerged as the middle child, eldest daughter, with a natural inclination to follow rules and a strong sense of family connection.

Despite facing challenges that others deemed too daunting, I exuded confidence and resilience, never giving up even when there seemed to be no reward. Affectionate by nature, I showed love through giving attention, and my good sense of humour often carried me through tough times. As I navigated an idyllic childhood, my church upbringing, while seemingly charming, held an undercurrent of close-mindedness, contributing to the suppression of emotions. Nonetheless, outdoor summer adventures with siblings and cousins became cherished memories, offering respite from the constraints of a carefully directed upbringing.

High school brought its own trials, marked by the loss of my brother before ninth grade and a period of exploration into partying and relationships. Yet, amidst these experiences, I began to forge my identity, indulging in simple pleasures like browsing beauty products at the local pharmacy and watching movies at the electronics store. The journey continued with chef school and entrepreneurial ventures, where I learned the art of independence and the thrill of new friendships in a bustling city. Marriage brought a devoted partner and the joys of motherhood, though the path was fraught with challenges, moments of bliss and light shone through the lives of my three beloved sons.

Now, as I transition out of the childbearing years, my focus shifts towards supporting women in their postpartum journey and exploring the depths of my own dreams and desires.

I seek to embrace my emotions, allowing myself time to heal and grow while nurturing a legacy of love and compassion. Through simplicity, intimacy, and connection to nature, I envision a life filled with laughter, adventure, and meaningful interactions. As I embark on this new chapter, I am driven by a desire to uplift and empower women, sharing my expertise, mentoring others, and fostering acceptance and generosity wherever I go.
